Wabi - Horsham

Quite simply the best japanese food I have ever eaten. Ignore the reviews that suggest small portions and high prices as it's not true. OK it's not cheap but the ingredients are top notch and there are noodle and rice dishes to fill you up if you need it. We had a Bento box (£13) and a sushi and sashimi platter (£12.50) and everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant decor is stylish and staff friendly and efficient. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Rajkumar - Horsham

Absolutely the best curry in town. Check out the Indian salad (very healthy) and the huge naans. Great service. Fab for takeouts or eat ins. The only worrying thing is that we go so often they know our order off by heart - whoops.

Oki-nami - Brighton

If you like Japanese you will definatley love Oki-nami.  If you dont like or have never tried Japanese then consider trying this restaurant, its varied menu offers more than sushi and will entice anyone with an open mind.  Go on try it.

Ginger Fox - Henfield - Updated

thank God that us yokels can now get a taste of how they live in the big city - or at least the excellent quality of gastropub they enjoy in Brighton but which seems impossible to find in the country. The atmosphere is relaxed and the menu, though short, is innovative without being poncey. The crab salad was very tasty but the real star was my plaice - thick and juicy and falling off the bone. I am reliably informed that the ice cream (homemade) was superb and so were the chocolate and coconut croquettes (unfortunately I am dieting again.) For once I can't think of anything negative to say at all  - but if I really try perhaps the choice of pieces of slate rather than plates is a bit odd.

Signor Franco's - Tunbridge Wells

How is it that the Italians make eating out so much fun. There is plenty of theatre here which totally complements the fantastic food. Plus most of the staff look like the cast from The Sopranos - who could ask for more? Not cheap but worth every penny. Perfect for a special occasion.

Highly recommended.

very very nice.  Highly Recommended.

vBites - Brighton and Hove

No sign of Heather Mills McCartney (who owns it) unfortunately. More cafe than restaurant but a full and varied menu without a dead animal in sight. Excellent cake conveyor belt was proving a big hit with the kids. It proves that vegan can be fun and tasty. Highly recommended.
